BoltNagi, PC serves as counsel to financial services companies, including commercial banks, thrift institutions, international bank agencies and representative offices of foreign banks, insurance companies, investment banking companies and mortgage banking companies.

We provide general corporate advice to financial services companies, their holding companies and their boards of directors on matters concerning corporate governance, fiduciary responsibilities and related matters. With respect to transactional matters, we represent financial services companies in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and other types of equity and debt securities offerings. On the regulatory side, our attorneys recently authored the “Virgin Islands Financial Services Act of 2005” which provided a comprehensive revision to the banking and financial services laws in the Territory. BoltNagi, PC’s attorneys advise financial institutions and their holding companies on general regulatory matters, as well as matters relating to investment authority, nondeposit investment products, privacy, electronic banking, fair lending and community reinvestment. Our attorneys also represent businesses and investors in establishing de novo commercial banks.

We practice before the Federal Reserve Board, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of Thrift Supervision, and the Virgin Islands Division of Banking & Insurance.
