BoltNagi PC, a full service law firm, has an immediate openings in its St. Thomas office for Associate Attorneys with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of business and commercial litigation and possess a general corporate background, with transactional experience in real estate, finance and commercial contracting.

We focus on doing good, meaningful work and try to make the work day enjoyable. If you work with us, you will become a better lawyer. The plan is that you will work with whichever partners need help the most, usually in a team of two. You will participate in every part of the process, and learn by doing. You will get detailed, constructive feedback on your work product. You will immediately have direct client contact and be provided opportunities for oral arguments, speaking engagements, publication opportunities, and other chances to build up your own reputation.

We are looking for somebody who can do the work, i.e., somebody who is thoughtful, thorough, and engaged, with enough experience to know what questions to ask and where to start looking for the answers.

The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates must have a Virgin Islands bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. BoltNagi is committed to building a culturally diverse team.

The summer associate experience at BoltNagi PC is just what you’d expect from a unique law firm based in “America’s Paradise”, the United States Virgin Islands. It’s both challenging and fun! From the interview process to the variety of work assignments to the social activities, the Summer Associate Program is designed to give you the ultimate experience. The Summer Associate Program is designed so we are able to expose law students to every aspect of the firm’s practice and its attorneys. as well as assess the abilities of the summer associates as future BoltNagi PC attorneys.

Summer associates are given a broad range of assignments designed to expose them to every aspect of the firm’s practice. We also strive to allow summer associates to work with as many of the firm’s practice groups as possible. Summer associate assignments range from one day legal research issues to preparation of extensive legal briefs, motions and other pleadings. In keeping with BoltNagi PC’s practice, we strive to have summer associates “make a difference” through their experience with the firm.

In addition to traditional work assignments, we strongly urge our summer associates to gain additional experience through observing our attorneys in action. We routinely arrange for our summer associates to attend depositions, court proceedings and various corporate transactions.
