Associate Attorney Alex LeJeune joined BoltNagi’s Real Estate and Financial Services, Corporate Tax & Estate Planning Practice Groups in 2023. His areas of practice focus on general transactional matters including commercial and residential real estate purchase and sales, real property development and finance, and commercial lending. Alex’s areas of practice also include probate and estate planning.
Prior to joining BoltNagi, Alex lived in Colorado while engaged in a broad transactional practice comprising areas such as real estate, corporate formation and governance, acquisitions, service agreements, and estate planning. Alex also has experience in civil litigation (particularly, real property and probate), as well as a brief stint in criminal defense and personal injury. Due to his experience in both transactional and litigation matters, Alex served as in-house counsel to several small businesses and start-ups, advising clients on a wide array of issues regarding legal compliance and risk management. As such, Alex takes pride in understanding the particular business objectives of his clients and formulating legal strategies that best serve their needs.
Before practicing, Alex attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, and simultaneously earned his Juris Doctor and Degree in Comparative Law, cum laude. His academic writings on various real property issues have been published in the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, Vol. IX and LexisNexis (2021).
Alex is a current member of the Virgin Islands Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division. He is admitted to the jurisdictions of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Colorado (inactive), and Texas (inactive).
